Trail Mic Sampler is four focused tools for musicians and sound hunters, built to work entirely offline. TUNER — a chromatic tuner with an adjustable A4 reference (415–466 Hz) and three temperaments: Equal, Just intonation in the key of C, and a sweetened Guitar temperament for cleaner open chords. BPM — classic tap tempo. Tap along to any beat and read the BPM back instantly. PULSE — live tempo detection. Play or clap a beat and Pulse locks onto the BPM automatically, no tapping required. SAMPLE — a field recorder with three ways to capture sound: manual recording with an optional count-in; a trail mic that arms the microphone and only records once it hears something above a threshold you set; and an overnight session that can listen for up to 12 hours, saving every sound event as its own timestamped clip. Every recording, tuning session and tempo reading happens on-device.
