Percussion Generator, the Mac app The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no network access and cannot reach this website or any other. The only data it writes are MIDI files you explicitly save through the system save panel, and a handful of app preferences (your chosen MIDI output and whether you have dismissed the welcome banner) stored locally on your Mac. No account is needed to use the app. This website The support section of this site is separate from the app and does collect data, but only if you choose to open a support ticket. Signing in uses Sign in with Apple, solely to confirm who you are so that replies reach you. We receive your email address, and your name if Apple shares it. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address. If you open a ticket we store the subject, the messages you write, and the account they belong to, so the conversation can be continued and so you can read it again later. We do not use any of it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the hosting providers that run this site. Keeping the account secure When you sign in we record the time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, so a compromised account can be investigated. Nothing else about your visit is tracked: there is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracker on this site. Deleting your data Write to support@syncbyjt.com and ask.
